We primarily work with 100% cotton fabrics, such as the vibrant Shweshwe, a fabric deeply rooted in South African heritage. Its durability, texture, and timeless patterns make it ideal for pieces that are both functional and meaningful.

The name Ammarah means "unfading flower" and is ode to the founder’s little princess who was 'born sleeping’. In her recovery, Ammarah's mum found solace and therapy in creating handmade products...and the rest as they say is history- or rather, her-story.
